Hi, I'm B.
Somewhat new to Hobart, I've been here for 12ish months now but still feels new in many ways. I was born and raised in Sydney and I've moved down looking for a calmer, quieter, nature-rich lifestyle; and, to be surrounded by more like-minded, kind humans.
I'm happiest and most content in nature. I'm very quiet at home, and I like to live in a space that is calm and peaceful and feels like an oasis from the chaos of the outside world. I live a health-oriented, active, and mindful lifestyle, I don't party or drink and I generally train (functional/strength/yoga) every day. I love gardening, especially growing my own herbs/veg and it's something I am hoping to do more of and learn more about now I am down here if/when the home and space allows. I also love cooking but have a few too many diet restrictions with my migraines and being coeliac these days to get into it much at the moment. Huge fan of chocolate. HUGE.
Work-wise, I was a photographer for a long time but have hung up those boots and mostly manage the photographic side of things for wire services and newspapers. I freelance, so my work days/hours chip and change a little, and I work from home. I also just started a masterts in counselling PT in March and I'll eventually start my post-grad psych degree, alongside counselling work (hopefully) once I settle in more.
Anything else you'd like to know, just ask!
Semi-flexible with move in date.
Sadly, I don't come with the dog.
