I'm on the hunt for a new rental space, gearing up to move in by the end of Jan/start of Feb 2024. It wouldn’t be a move to Canberra without an APS job! - I’ll be joining a graduate program next year, making the move up from Melbourne. 🌟
I am jetting off to Central America 🌶 until the end of January, so I'm eager to secure a place before then. My budget is up to $250 a week, and I'll need a spot with parking for my car.
Currently eyeing suburbs like Watson, Hackett, and Ainsley (recs I’ve been given), but I'm open to other inner-city adjacent areas that offer a vibrant atmosphere.
A bit about me: I'm 23 years old, with a passion for wildlife biology and conservation. My background is in environmental science/ecology, and I thrive in the great outdoors. When I'm not nerding out in nature, volunteering in enviro research, or traveling, you'll find me hitting the gym or indulging in some guilty pleasure TV shows. I'd describe myself as outgoing, always up for a good chat, yet I highly value personal downtime and respect everyone's need for privacy. Oh, and did I mention I have two adorable frogs? They're super easy to cohabitate with—no mess or smell! 🐸🌿
Having lived in share houses previously, I understand the importance of a harmonious living environment and contribute positively to shared spaces. *LGBTQ+ friendly of course, hoping to live with people similar in age, preferably female housemates but open to a mixed gender household.
