Health-driven, non-smoker, non-drinking yogi (world's most boring woman on reflection?).
Former corporate slave turned middle-aged backpacker turned full-time novelist, searching for something bigger than the usual bed + bath (WFH).
A little granny flat in Varsity Lakes or within 20 mins would be THE DREAM, and if not, somewhere I could make a sneaky quite coffee in the wee hours if the creative juices kick in, without the kettle waking anyone up (I can do every other step of coffee making in total silence and by rangehood light, but the sound of that damn kettle's hard to get around).
You'd never know I was there otherwise because I move like a ghost, NEVER clomp around in noisy shoes inside, listen to music via headphones or on super low, and am generally just a gently moving human.
And given I was once a wife and mother with a crazy career, I'm used to washing up extra cups if I see them, taking care of things that need to be done, identifying problems and sorting them out (like if you forgot to hang your sheets on the line before you went to work), and just being a good human who sees when others are struggling and may need dinner made for them too.
I'm always happy to share milk and coffee and butter etc. if you've run out, because being weird about that shit is... well... just weird.
In a nutshell -- considerate, thoughtful, respectful, tolerant, responsible, easy-going, quiet and tidy.
Always curious about other humans and love to chat about life and its infinite lessons, while being mindful and respectful of your privacy. However, novel-writing Is a weird and extremely anti-social process, which involves total disappearance for hours and hours and hours on end.
Early to bed most of the time and early to rise to meditate, exercise and then get cracking on the computer.
I raised two healthy, functioning, well-adjusted, sensible (mostly) children into adulthood, one of whom lives at Varsity Lakes and has just become a mum herself and needs regular help (and I need to get my hands on that new baby as often as possible).
Adore children of all ages and love their little ways and games and observations, and am not at all bothered by the noise of them just going about life, without any concept of what an inside voice is just yet.
Animal lover (none of my own) and always happy to step in if you go away and need them walked / fed / smooched / taken care of.
