Hello, I'm Luke, a 25-year-old Pom from the north west of England (between Liverpool and Manchester). I moved to Melbourne a month ago after living in Bristol.
I moved here with my Melbournian girlfriend, who's currently living with her parents, so it's just me looking for a room. She'll probably pop over occasionally, and I'll be over at hers some days.
I work full-time as an Account Manager in the marketing industry with standard business hours and the occasional day working from home.
I'm clean, tidy, and respectful of shared spaces. One of the reasons I'm moving into a share house is to meet new people, so it'd be great to live with people I click with. Always up for a chat over dinner, a drink at the pub or something at the weekend, but equally happy to give people their own space.
A bit about me: I like to cook (currently working on a cookbook) and play guitar. I keep active with tennis, running and the odd game of soccer (football!). I'm also a long-suffering Everton fan, still working out how I'm going to watch them from this side of the world with games on in the middle of the night.
I've lived in shared houses before with people of all ages and backgrounds, so I know how to read the room, do my bit to keep things running, and I'm easy-going about who I live with.
I’m ideally looking for a lease of around six months, happy to stay longer if it's a good fit, and would be happiest sharing with up to three other people.
Feel free to reach out with any questions – happy to hop on a call or meet for a coffee first, and can put you in touch with past housemates if useful.
