Hi! I’m Angelo, 27, originally from Italy and moving to Sydney for work.
I’m a consultant and will be working full-time in the CBD. I’ve been living abroad for the past few years and I’m really looking forward to settling into Sydney properly.
I’m easygoing, social, very organised and tidy, and I enjoy living with people while also respecting everyone’s own space. I like having a comfortable and friendly home environment, and ideally I’d live with people who are happy to occasionally have dinner, drinks or hang out together without it feeling like a party house.
Outside of work, I’m into travelling, surfing, diving, the gym and generally being outdoors.
I’m now looking for a longer-term place from around 24 October. I’m flexible on the exact move-in date and could potentially move a little earlier or later if needed, but around 24 October would be ideal.
My preferred areas are Waterloo, Redfern, Bondi Junction, Surry Hills, Potts Point, Darlinghurst, Haymarket, Newtown, Paddington, Edgecliff, Woollahra, Elizabeth Bay, Rushcutters Bay, Chippendale and Pyrmont. A good connection to the CBD is important, ideally around 20–30 minutes by train, light rail or bus.
Ideally, I’m looking for a nice furnished room in a 2–4 person household, with a good balance between social life and having your own space. Since I’ll likely work from home a few days per week, it would also be great if the room had enough space for a desk and chair. I’m fine with a shared bathroom, as long as I’d be sharing it with no more than one other person. An ensuite/private would of course be a plus.
My budget is around $400–600/week, with some flexibility for the right place.
