33F | Full-time professional | Looking for a home for approx 6 months

Hey! I’m a 33 year old single woman looking for a room to rent for around six months, ideally until I’m able to buy my own place sometime next year.

I work full time in a corporate role in Chermside, and I tend to work fairly long hours during the week, so home is definitely somewhere I like to come back to and relax. I’m clean, quiet and respectful, and I’m definitely not a party type, although I do enjoy getting out for the occasional birthday, dinner, drinks or event.

Outside of work, I love Pilates, walking, catching up with the girls over coffee, cooking and getting out to see live music when I can. I’m also partial to the odd rugby game! I love pets and kids, so I’m happy to live in a home with either (or both).

I’m a non-smoker, have no pets or kids, and I have one car. I’m looking for somewhere around $200–$400 per week, depending on the room/home and what’s included.

I’d ideally love a home that has a nice balance between peaceful and comfortable where everyone can do their own thing, but where it’s also nice to have a chat, share a meal or hang out together occasionally. I’m very respectful of people’s space and privacy and would hope for the same in return.

I have my own bedroom furniture, as well as some other homewares and belongings, but I’m flexible, happy to bring everything I have or keep things minimal depending on what the house already has.
