A little about us…

My younger brother and I are looking for a lovely couple to team up with and find a three bedroom rental around Brisbane’s inner suburbs!

We’re hoping to move ASAP, but we’d love to find the right people rather than rush into something that isn’t a good fit.

Ideally, the couple would have the master bedroom, preferably with an ensuite, while Kristian and I would each have our own rooms.

Our combined budget is $450–$500 per week, and we’re hoping to find a couple comfortable contributing a similar amount, depending on the property.

Preferred suburbs:
Milton, Paddington, Red Hill, Ashgrove, Toowong, Auchenflower, West End, Kelvin Grove, Newmarket, Petrie Terrace, Spring Hill, St Lucia and Dutton Park. We’re also open to surrounding suburbs for the right home!

There’s a 10 year age gap between Kristian and me, so our dynamic is more calm than chaotic sibling energy haha.

I work full time in administration at a real estate agency, Monday to Friday, generally 8 am to 5 pm. I’ve lived in sharehouses since I was 18, so I understand the importance of respecting people’s space, communicating openly and being considerate of shared environments.

Kristian is preparing to join the military and will likely be moving out in approximately six months. Once he leaves, we’d be happy to work together to find another lovely housemate to take over his room, subject to everyone’s agreement.

A little about Indy 🧚🏻‍♀️

I love my time alone, but I’m also outgoing, playful and love being around good company!

I’m into paint and sip, pottery, ballet, horse riding, weekend markets, beautiful cafés, philosophy, spirituality and deep conversations. I love hosting cosy dinner nights, a little wine tasting, game nights and spontaneous adventures. Equally happy having a quiet night in!

I’m drawn to people who are emotionally mature, kind, self aware and can laugh without restraint. I’m not the kind of person to yuck someone’s yum, and I appreciate the same approach in others.

I believe in everything in moderation. A little playful gossip and laughter are part of life, but I don’t enjoy being malicious or tearing people down. For me, it’s all about good energy, mutual respect and being considerate of one another.

A little about Kristian 🥷

I’m a little more reserved and enjoy my own space, although I still love socialising in moderation.

The gym is part of my everyday routine, and I’m passionate about church, ministry and philosophical conversations. I also enjoy the occasional video game, movie nights and relaxing at home.

I’m pretty easygoing and appreciate a home where everyone respects each other’s privacy and personal space.

About Suki 🐱

You’ll also be sharing the home with Suki, my six year old rescue cat!

She had a rough start in life before I adopted her, so she can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’ll steal your heart.

She’s desexed, gentle and loves sunbathing in the garden or following me around the house. She’s used to spending time outdoors during the day and sleeping inside at night, so we’d ideally love somewhere with a secure outdoor area.

Suki generally prefers being the only pet, but we’d be open to discussing another cat and seeing if we could make it work with slow introductions.

The kind of home we’d love 🤍

We’d really love to find a couple we genuinely get along with, rather than just people to split the rent with.

Somewhere we can occasionally cook dinner together, have a wine, play games, share a laugh or just enjoy each other’s company without feeling obligated to socialise all the time.

We’re both independent and appreciate our downtime, so personal space and privacy are equally important.

We’d probably suit people who are kind, clean, emotionally mature, communicative and considerate of shared spaces.

At the end of the day, we’d love our home to feel equally like everyone’s home. Somewhere peaceful, comfortable and welcoming, where we can communicate openly, compromise when needed and enjoy living together.
