G’day, I’m Simon, but most people call me Ski.

Brisbane local who has lived around Australia and is now happily settled back home. I work full time at UQ in a professional role, standard business hours, with the flexibility to work from home a couple of days per week.

I’m easygoing, social, clean and respectful of shared spaces. I like a house that feels like a home. Somewhere relaxed where we can have a chat or share a meal occasionally, while also respecting each other’s downtime.

Outside of work I’m usually keeping active or catching up with mates. Gym, trying new restaurants, exploring new spots around Brisbane, or saying yes to trivia even if I am not much help. I enjoy a drink if there is an occasion, but I’m more into a relaxed, easygoing home than a party scene.

I love to travel and have been lucky enough to visit around 30 countries so far. I’m always keen to swap travel stories or get tips about places that are still on my list. There is usually another trip being loosely planned in the background.

I am currently building a house, so I am looking for a short term arrangement until around October or November this year (timing to be confirmed). I want to be upfront that this would not be a long term lease on my end.

What I’m looking for:
• One bedroom for myself
• Within reasonable distance of the CBD
• Off street parking
• Own bathroom is required
• Ideally sharing with just one other person who is tidy and appreciates a calm, respectful home environment

Looking to move either the weekend of 28-29 March, or 11-12 April at the latest.

I have bedroom furniture but can be flexible depending on the setup.
