My partner Malia and have just returned to Melbourne to settle into a long-term home as we continue building our careers in the east.
I currently work in permanent roles as an OSHC Coordinator and in education support, and have
been in the sector for over 10 years. Over the past 12 months, I’ve been in the Northern Territory
undertaking professional development work supporting Indigenous communities, and have now returned to resume both of my roles. I also undertake weekend consulting in autism and positive behaviour support, alongside studying a Bachelor of Education.
Malia works in aged care and has an established employment and rental history in Melbourne, along with strong family connections locally. She has recently returned from New Zealand and is focused on settling back into Melbourne long-term.
We both work in people-focused roles and spend a lot of our time supporting others, and we bring
that same level of care and respect into the way we live in our home.
Between us, we have stable, consistent income and secure employment, and we’re in a position tocomfortably meet rental commitments.
During my time in the Northern Territory, I was living in employer-provided accommodation. Prior to this, I have rental history with positive references, and Malia also has strong rental history in Melbourne.
We’ve been together for several years and live a pretty quiet, routine-based lifestyle. Outside of
work, we keep things low-key and are really just looking for a calm, well-maintained space to come
home to after busy weeks.
We take pride in keeping our home clean and well looked after, and we’re respectful, reliable, and
easy to communicate with.
We’re looking for a place we can settle into long-term and genuinely treat as our home.
Thank you for your time and consideration
Kind Regards
Malia Michael and Jess O’Keefe
