Hi, I’m Carla from Leipzig, Germany. I’ll be in Brisbane from February until end of April for a research stay at the UQ as part of my PhD in Political Psychology. I’ll be working during the week, but I’m also looking forward to get to know Brisbane and enjoy Australia in my free time.

I’ve lived in share houses for most of my student life and really appreciate a warm, easy-going home atmosphere - chatting over coffee, sharing a meal every now and then, or going out together, while still respecting everyone’s space and routines.

In my spare time, I love wandering around new neighborhoods and discover new spots, visiting art and music spaces, and browsing vintage spots.

I absolutely love animals, but sadly I’m allergic, so pet-free places work best for me.
