Hi everyone, I’m Sap.
I’m a gentle giant looking for a calm, respectful flat share and hoping to find the right long-term home with a like-minded housemate.

I’m a reliable, quiet and considerate 40-year-old straight man with stable part-time work at a commercial laundry in Banyo as a production worker and truck offsider. I’m tidy, pay my rent and bills on time, and have secure income through my wages, Disability Support Pension and housing subsidy. I have no debts.

I live with a vision impairment, so I don’t drive or need a car space, access to public transport is crucial for me. I’m fully independent, use public transport, and keep a consistent routine around work and life. I am very physically strong, happy to help lift things if you need help.

I live a very low-key lifestyle, I don’t smoke, drink, use drugs or party and I genuinely value like minded people and a peaceful, clean and comfortable home environment. Honesty and Respect are very important to me, I have old school values and morals. I prefer to live with non-smokers and people who are social but not partiers or heavy drinkers. Drugs is a hard no from me.

After more than 10 years in public housing with family, I’m ready to create a stable home of my own and would love to find a genuine, respectful flatmate who values reliability and easy living as much as I do. I’m ideally looking around Chermside, Kedron, Wooloowin, Lutwyche, Banyo, Northgate, Nundah or nearby areas close to public transport (buses or train station).

A bit about me - I love my reggae and islander music, enjoy cooking, watching Netflix, very welcoming of other cultures and like giving back to my community. I need structure and routine, and I take pride in my work (I’ve been awarded employee of the month twice in the last year). Wednesdays and Sundays are my days off, I like to rest and go to boxing PT (Wednesdays). I work 2pm-8pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (I often leave for work on weekdays an hour or more early, I am very punctual). I usually work extra shifts 6am-12/2pm Saturdays.

I own a dog “Koa”, but she will stay with my relatives as she is the family pet, guard dog and is settled there. I love dogs and animals

If you’re looking for a safe, trustworthy, drama-free housemate who enjoys a laugh, respects the space, is happy to mow the yard and treats a home with respect, I’d love to hear from you. I would prefer a long term stable arrangement 6 months+.

Compatible people for me to live with is someone who is respectful of others boundaries, clean and tidy, contributes to the shared space and has a sense of humour. I am a friendly but very private person and will keep to myself. I enjoy a chat but respect people’s time and space as well.

I would prefer to arrange my own food. I am not vegan or vegetarian. I have some furniture and am happy to share if the other person can respect the belongings. I am a clean person and prefer a non smoker and non regular drinker as I do not smoke or drink.
