Maisie and Rocha

Hello, we are two sisters who have moved to Brisbane from the UK on a WHV. We have fallen in love with the city over the past few months and are looking to move out of our hostel into somewhere with a bit more space.

What we are looking for: Either a share or private house/apartment with ideally a room each or we are happy to share (with single beds). We would be looking for a furnished place but would also consider unfurnished if it is in a good location.
We would be looking in East Brisbane, South Brisbane, Coorparoo, Buranda, West End or surrounding areas with Bus and/or Train links to make it easier for us to both get to work. We are free to move in from the 4th October 2026 but can be flexible and are looking for a 3-6 month contract (we are also flexible on this). Ideally we are looking to spend a total of $600 a week (300 each) with bills included - $400 if its just the one bedroom in shared house.

A bit about us:

Hi I am Rocha I am 22 years old and work in retail in a shopping center on the outskirts of the city. I am on a part time contract but work basically full time hours (9am-5:30pm most week days and weekends). I am expecting to be busy working with Christmas coming up! I like reading, crafts and exploring new places in the city.

I am Maisie and I am 24 years old and work as a bartender in a brewery in the valley. I work throughout the week and weekends (usually between the hours of midday and 1am - I am very quiet when I am home late and tend to head straight to bed) . I will also occasionally bring home beer and will keep the fridge well stocked. When I am not working, I love trips to the cinema and watching movies at home, reading books and Cafe trips.

We are both really respectful of personal space and are happy to keep to ourselves. However, we do love card/boardgame nights, days out including to theme parks or the nearby beaches and trips to coffee shops/bars, we would always be happy to have more company!
