Hi I’m Josh: a friendly, easy going, respectful, and clean guy. I keep fit at the gym, running, yoga, mountain biking, and hiking. I've shared many times in the past without effort, and I’m financially sound and responsible with bills. I like friendly vibes at home. I'm the kind of housemate who is self-aware and picks up after themselves, is always up for a friendly chat but also very independent and respectful of personal space. I like contributing to a clean and tidy home overall without being over the top.

I’m an animal and nature lover generally, and I come with Shelby: a beautifully-natured, well-behaved chocolate border collie. Shelby is a half-size border collie (beagle size). She is well looked after, trained to a working dog level (I used to look after police dogs), and friendly with people and animals alike. She is an asset to every house we've lived in, and past housemates ask me if they can have her if I'm ever going away. I take her on a couple of outings everyday at least, and at home she is very independent and relaxed—if you’re home she’ll likely park herself near you and fall asleep. So, I'm looking for an animal friendly home—other pets are fine too; Shelby is fine around all kinds of animals, sociable or unsociable, and so am I.

I've travelled extensively, lived in lots of different settings, and I'm good with people of all ages and from all walks of life; however, I'm not looking for a party house. I love reading and writing, and I do a lot of both. I'm looking forward to moving back to Sydney and exploring with Shelby. I’ll be studying part time and working part time. PS—we'll be heading to Sydney for a couple of weeks mid August to have a look around, so I'll be available to meet and greet then, and if you have a room already free at that time, I'd be happy to discuss renting it for that couple of weeks as a trial to see if we are a match :)
