Hey there,

I'm Mikayla, a 41-year-old transgender woman currently living in Rockdale. I'm on the lookout for a really cozy and genuinely welcoming place to call home – somewhere I can feel completely comfortable and settled.

I'm definitely a homebody at heart, so creating a peaceful and respectful living space is super important to me. I'm a considerate housemate: I keep things tidy, I'm quiet, and I always believe in being open and honest. Honestly, I find it pretty easy to get along with people! I tend to view housemates and their friends as a kind of extended family and really cherish that connection.

Nature and animals are a huge part of what I love. So, if you have any furry or feathered companions, I have a feeling we'll get along famously – maybe even become best buds! And a nearby park or green space? That would be the absolute cherry on top!

Ideally, I'm drawn to areas like Newtown, Marrickville, or Enmore. While I love those suburbs, I'm not completely set on them and am happy to consider other neighbourhoods if the right opportunity arises. The age or condition of a place isn't a deal-breaker for me; what matters most are the people, the overall vibe, and, of course, the location.

It's really important for me to be in an environment where LGBTQIA+ individuals aren't just tolerated but are truly welcomed and feel completely safe. I'd love to share a home with friendly, mature housemates who appreciate those simple shared moments – like a casual dinner, a Friday night glass of wine, or just a good chat. At the same time, I absolutely respect personal space and independence.

Once I'm settled, I'm planning to get back into some studies and volunteer within the community. I'm pretty flexible with move-in dates and am looking for a commitment of at least 3 to 6 months, though I'd be thrilled to stay longer if it feels like a good fit for everyone.
