Catrin and Kyle

Hi everyone!

My name is Catrin, and I am coming to Sydney with my partner Kyle on the 2nd October 2025. We are both from the UK and arriving on our first working holiday visa.

I have secured full time employment as a Veterinary Nurse, and start this role in mid October!
My partner is a Firefighter in the UK, and will be searching for work upon arrival.

For hobbies, we both are social people who love connecting with new friends, but also appreciate time on our own. We enjoy hiking, the beach (especially snorkelling) and would love to try surfing! Kyle is an incredible cook- me not so much, but its fabulous to try his food! We are both active people, so an on site gym or swimming pool would be a major bonus, though not at all essential.

We are looking for either a studio apartment, flat or houseshare. I have lived in 3 houseshares before and always get on with my housemates- in fact, 3 of my closest friends are from houseshares! We are extremely respectful and understand the need for shared areas to be clean and tidy. We would be spending alot of time outside the house exploring.

I can provide an excellent reference from my previous landlord.

We would be open to stay over 3 months if the place is right for us.
