Lachlan and Maddy

We’re Lachlan and Maddy, both 25, relocating from Victoria back to the Gold Coast - a return home for me, since I grew up in Ashmore. I’ve just completed my EWP ticket, and I’m building a career in arborist work after years in construction, aircraft maintenance, logistics, and tech support. I’m a hands-on, tidy human who brings calm energy but isn’t boring. When I’m not climbing trees, you’ll catch me lifting at the gym, sprinting by the beach, jamming on piano, flying circuits, or cooking up creative projects instead of chaos. 🌴🚁🎹

Maddy’s the bubbly half of our duo - the kind who makes a room feel lighter just by walking in. She’s worked as a babysitter and in hospitality, and she’s about to start her Cert III in Education Support to become a teacher’s aide. Creative at heart, she’s happiest with art, colouring, puzzles, or racing the clock in an escape room. She’s social, friendly, and easy to live with. ✨🧩

As housemates, we’re reliable, respectful, and keep our space clean. Rent and bills are always on time, and we’re up for movie nights or beach mornings, but equally good at giving space. We’ve got two indoor cats who are calm, quiet, and mostly nap — but we’re flexible if pets are a sticking point. 🌊🐾

What we’re really after is a place to call home — somewhere with good people, good vibes, and a lifestyle that makes the most of the Gold Coast.
