Hi! I’m Abigail. She/they.
I'm a full-time professional working as a Spatial Data Analyst, and I work from home full-time Mon-Thu. I’m friendly, thoughtful, and respectful, and I value a home that feels calm, comfortable, and mutually supportive.
I enjoy creative hobbies like art and crafting, spending time outdoors, and relaxed social moments. I'm happy to chat, share a meal, or do something creative together - but I also really value quiet time and personal space. I’m considerate with noise and shared areas and appreciate clear, kind communication in a household.
Because I work from home, I need space for a desk in an area that can be kept reliably quiet during meetings (this can be my bedroom, as long as there is still space for a bed!), as well as internet (or the ability to set it up).
I also receive NDIS support and have a support worker who visits several times a week to help with cleaning, chores, and life admin. These visits are low-key and professional, and timings can be negotiated to suit the household to some degree.
I’m looking for a household with people who are respectful, communicative, and comfortable living with someone who works from home. Ideally, it’s a place where everyone feels at ease doing their own thing, with the option for the occasional shared moment.
I also have a dog:
Hunny!
She’s a small/medium (10 kg) Dachshund × Kelpie with endless enthusiasm for fetch - if it were up to her, she’d happily play 24/7. She enjoys daily 1 hour walks and is calm and well-mannered indoors except for when the occasional zoomies strike.
Hunny is house-trained, friendly, and rarely barks. She uses a set of 15 “talking” buttons to communicate (her favorites include “ball” and “now”), and ideally these are placed in a central area so she can let us know what she needs. We can add a button with your name so she can make demands of you, too ;)
She’s a lovely, gentle, caring presence - equal parts playful and cuddly - and tends to win people over very quickly.
