Rebecca and Huw

Hey there! We’re a Scottish couple who have juts landed in Melbourne and are looking for a house share that we can call our home away from home.

My partner Huw (He/Him) 26, works in video journalism and I Rebecca (She/Her) 27, work in fashion photography.

We are a friendly, respectful and relaxed couple who love exploring new places and immersing ourselves in different cultures, we value inclusivity and diversity.

In our free time, you'll often find us indulging in our love for music and art by attending gigs and visiting art galleries. Or checking out local pubs and restaurants with friends and family.

We also enjoy spending time outdoors, going for walks and hikes, and even camping trips to embrace nature's beauty. We enjoy cycling, paddle-boarding, surfing and climbing.

For extra bonus points Huw is a great cook!! One of his passions is cooking good meals and he’ll occasionally spend his free time after work watching cooking shows, learning and experimenting with new recipes. If you’re a foodie you’ll love his cooking too.

When it comes to house vibes, we’re pretty chilled people but we would prefer having the shared spaces kept clean and tidy.

Building friendships within the house is important to us, creating a relaxed and chill atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable is key. We would love to live with likeminded individuals and or couples who also enjoy hosting dinner parties and organizing house outings together. Huw is a big film and tv buff so we’re always up for a flat movie night in.

We’ve both been to university and as students we lived in house and flat shares for a combined 8 years. We understand the balance of socialising, alone time and personal space.

Overall, we’re looking for a place that is welcoming, homely and aligns with our personal interests and values – music, art, food, socialising and an active lifestyle exploring the great outdoors.
