Hello potential housemates,
My name is Sam; I’m a 34 year old neurodiverse male from South West England. I moved to Melbourne 8 years ago to be with my partner (we moved in together day one of our relationship) and sadly her and I are no longer together, it’s been about 3 months. Please note; I am single and my ex partner won’t be visiting, staying or moving into the property.
I’m a huge advocate of positive mental health and I’ve been in therapy for years and currently doing weekly sessions. Why am I mentioning this? So you don’t have to worry about someone moping around your house or locked in their room for days.
I’m a hospitality professional and have been in the game for quite some time, currently working full time and I’m studying a Cert III in Carpentry (I had to defer my studies recently due to my relationship ending, and will return to part time study soon).
I’m a busy and active individual, with a vast amount of interests, I spend lots of time out of the house due to work, activities and hobbies. When I’m home, I love a chat and a proper catch up but I’m also deeply respectful of other people’s space and energy.
I’m looking for a household that can provide stability (changing housemates weekly and parties every night is not for me). Don’t get me wrong, I love a good party and kick ons but there is a time and a place.
I’m too old to live in a place with rubbish and dishes all over the place, I’m not spending my time cleaning up after people. Any untidiness stays in your room, not in communal spaces.
A garage for me to build/fix stuff would be nice but not essential.
I will bring good, balanced, masculine energy to your household.
