49 (and sticking with that for as long as I can get away with it 😉).
I’m a CEO by day, which sounds considerably more responsible than I probably deserve. Work keeps me busy, but outside of that I’m relaxed, sociable, enjoy a good laugh and have been known to make the occasional questionable decision in pursuit of a good story.
I love travel, skiing, spontaneous weekends away, good food, decent wine and the occasional night that starts with “just one drink” and ends up being considerably more memorable than originally planned. Growing older is compulsory, but growing up is entirely optional.
I’m financially independent and could comfortably afford my own place, so why Flatmates? Good question! I figured life’s too short to always take the conventional route. Meeting new people, trying something different and seeing where this little adventure takes me sounds far more interesting.
I’m open to either finding an existing room in a shared home or teaming up with someone to find a great place together. No particular preferences around age or background. For me, it’s about finding the right people and a living arrangement that works for everyone.
I’m clean, considerate, house-trained and can operate most household appliances without supervision. I respect personal space, pay my bills on time and know when to be sensible. Whether I always choose to be is another matter entirely.
I’m pretty non-judgemental, enjoy a bit of banter and appreciate people who don’t take themselves too seriously. Equally comfortable having a laugh over a drink or doing my own thing.
Ultimately, looking for a comfortable home, good company, plenty of laughs and perhaps the occasional story best left out of the family Christmas newsletter.
Life’s an adventure. Might as well make it an interesting one!
