I am a 52 year-old (young actually) woman who enjoys reading, walking, and delving into the realms of neuroscience and love to discuss business - 13 years I operated my own import & distribution company, most recently company I project managed the manufacture of items out of China the for very large events. Design to delivery really. I have some matters I’ll be focused on likely until Xmas and I’ll be at home most of the time. I have 2 older teenage children, who I raised largely on my own for 15 years who no longer live with me, I do miss living with them, I was needed all the time as Mum, so its been an adjustment. I lost my mum in December 2024 after a few years of declining health, that has been difficult and sad, but more so losing her - she was my best friend. Add menopause since surgery in 2020, 5 years it’s been a lot. I need to regroup!!
I am at crossroads in life, need some time to focus on my health and to find/remind me who I am again! I am needing about 4-6 months in Brisbane to get some matters finalised with aim then from there begin plan north qld move where I can afford to set up resort style upmarket pod/plunge pools for couples - no kids - weekend getaways. Keep me busy and out of trouble until I retire! I like living in a space with plenty of natural light. I am quite private, enjoy my own company and being on my own, but equally want a happy, social home where I can enjoy with housemates a meal/wine etc. as well. I have been single for 10 years (yes whole decade!) I felt it crucial the kids came first. I have been open to a relationship but haven’t met anyone that has been right. My core values are being kind, being honest, being genuine. I love to laugh more than anything (other than my kids and sunshine - oh and food lol) . I want to live with people with similar values, who work hard, grateful and are just really good humans 😊 re: housework etc, everyone has their levels or what they are better at and prefer to do (other than basic day to day…most important thing is being considerate I think and not let something stew if there is an issue. No need for any big deal, I’m always open and prefer someone to say if there is an issue, good communication and respect is all that’s required. I have furniture that can fill an apartment - have downsized from 3 bed townhouse only made it down to 2 bedder, so easily can add anything that’s required. Or for team up option I am able to provide all furniture other than your bedroom (unless you would be ok in a king single then I can do that too!) Im packing now for move Friday 31st July.
Last thing I have a cat called Suki she is about 10 months old. Suki The Wondercat!
For team up option, I’m looking for someone to share a 2 bed 2 bath larger unit 100m2 plus. Balcony. Lots of light. As I said I can furnish totally. Thinking anyone FIFO? Would contribute less % rent than me could be ideal for someone? Location I’m fairly open to as long as sort of inner city.

PS please do not discount me due to my age…my daughter told me I am like a very wise teenager 😊
