Hi, I’m Jean from China. I’m currently a PhD student in medical school. I usually get up around 8:30 am and go to bed around 12:30 pm. I’m generally quiet at home but enjoy socialising when the vibe is right.

I’m tidy and always clean up after myself, especially in shared areas, and I’m happy to help with cleaning and chores on a roster. I have scholarship support, so rent and bills will always be paid on time. I’ve lived in sharehouses for two years in Beijing and haven’t had any major issues with flatmates before — I think open and respectful communication makes all the difference.

I’ll often use the kitchen but always clean up after cooking or eating. In my free time I enjoy video games (single-player like the Ace Attorney series and co-op games like Overcooked), and I also love sports such as badminton and pool. Tennis is fun too.

I’m looking for flatmates who are clean, respectful and easy-going. I prefer no smoking in shared areas, and reasonable habits around cleanliness and noise.
