G'day, I'm Matt, a mature-age Clinical Exercise Physiology student at QUT. Before transferring to QUT, I completed two years of Physiotherapy at UQ. Before returning to uni I spent 18 years as a chef, and these days I also work as a personal trainer. Turns out I swapped feeding people for trying to keep them healthy. 😄
I've rented in the same place for over 4.5 years with a perfect rental ledger and have shared houses for around eight years. I've learnt the best share houses are built on pretty simple things: communicate, clean up after yourself, respect each other's space, and don't be a drama magnet.
Outside uni you'll usually find me at CrossFit, running, cycling, getting outdoors, reading, or catching up with mates over a BBQ, the footy or a board game.
I'm generally a pretty easy-going bloke. I love a laugh, I'm probably not as much trouble as I look, and for the record... it's prawns, not shrimp, and no Australian actually drinks Fosters. 😄
I'm looking for a relaxed, respectful home with good people. Somewhere everyone enjoys living together, has a chat when they're around, but also respects that sometimes people just want to switch off after a long day.
P.S. I come house-trained. Eighteen years as a chef means cleaning as I go is pretty much hard-wired. 🍳😄
