Hey I'm Jack, 35, easy going, very tidy and work full time in finance tech.
I'm into catching up with friends, active lifestyle, coffee-runs, bbq/ cooking, road trips, i work a lot, and the odd dinner night out.
• Regularly work out of co-working spaces and cafes most days instead of just working from home
• Try to get away some weekends, or plan quick trips interstate
Looking to join a place from Early April/ May 2026 that has some down-to-earth roommates who have their own careers, are fairly chill, look after the home + like to be social now and then.
Have lived with everyone... bankers, teachers, tradies, recruiters, students, travelers, hospo, healthcare, engineers, fashion, event planners, self-employed, vegan, veggo, carnivore, those with allergies... I've always had a laugh with my flatmates, paid rent early and I kept drama-free.
Originally from Gippsland, and have been living in South America + Vietnam for the last 3 years with remote work. Before that I lived in two great flats on Albert Park and in Richmond for 3 years during the lockdowns.
More than willing to contribute to ANY furnishings if you're missing anything.
• Pretty flexible with the weekly rent costs ($200 - $375 approx)
• Any time from early April onward for a move in date
• I can come with (or without) a 55 inch tv, Weber BBQ, exercise gear, home study... again, happy to chip in if you need major appliances.
• I'm flexible on: furnished room or not, move-in dates, costs, shared bathroom, etc.
• I don't have a car/don't need a car park
• Would love to have a private room big enough to fit a queen and small desk
• I'm single with no pets, so you don't have to worry about an additional flatmate/ hidden costs
Goal Location:
As close as possible to a train/ tram in either: the CBD, South Melbs, Port Melbs, Southbank, South Yarra, Parhan, Albert Park, Windsor, St Kilda West, Richmond, Collingwood, or St.Kilda, East Melbs - area's. But I can live anywhere close in the city if the house has a great crew.
I'm typically a deep sleeper so it's not a problem if you or any other house mates like to stay up late, get up super early, you do shift work, have pets or you go out a lot, WFH, etc.
Very happy to have a quick chat in person or over the phone/ zoom + meet up for a coffee. Shoot through a message if you have any questions and looking forward to catching up.

Ps. Getting a few messages… not looking for a move in date before April at this stage, cheers and all the best
