Hey, I'm Clay, 30, from the US. I'm moving back to Sydney on a working holiday visa, landing Nov 3. I actually lived in Sydney for 2 years form 2023-2025, so I'm not starting from scratch.
I work in accounting and I'm job hunting at the moment, but I'll most likely be in the CBD most days with the one-off WFH day. Pretty active lifestyle, I run, go hiking/camping, cook some, and keep things tidy. Easy going, lived with flatmates for years now, and usually end up good mates with the people I live with, which I'd love to keep going.
I'm after flatmates who are up for actually hanging out, not just sharing a hallway. Someone social and easy going who'd be keen for a beer or to do stuff together now and then. Tidy and respectful of shared spaces matters to me, I'm pretty clean myself. I've got mates in Sydney already so I'm not looking for my whole social life from the house, but I do want to genuinely get along with the people I live with.
I've got a temp place lined up while I look, and I'm after a longer term setup (furnished, at least a mattress would do). Hoping to turn the working holiday into something long term, so keen to find somewhere I can properly settle in. Lived in Manly last time, keen to give the city side a go this time around.
