Ben McCarthy

I'm a 30-year-old guy moving from Manchester to Brisbane at the end of September. I work in real estate development—hoping to get involved with some of the 2032 Olympics project work while I'm there. I've rented in Manchester for the last 12 years, so I'm well-accustomed to share houses and keeping a clean, tidy space.

I’m pretty laid back and easygoing. I love sports—especially football, cricket, and golf—and I’m keen to get down to the local footy to check out the AFL and NRL when I arrive. I also head to the gym regularly.

I’m looking to find a great spot close to the city centre with good coffee and beer spots nearby, and some good housemates to ease the transition into Brisbane life
