Hi there,
My name is Mick/Michael and I am currently in the process of moving out of my current residence. I am laid back, easy going and have over a decades worth of experience in shares houses (usually between 2-3 bedrooms). I work part time at a pet supplies store, so I love animals and am happy to live with any cat friendly pets.
I am tidy and have been told that I’m easy to live with, as I spend a lot of time either working or quietly attending to personal projects where I can find the time.
When I am around, I’m always up for a chat, cooking dinners and any social activities around the house. In 90% of my housing situations, I’ve become friends with my housemate and I find that it’s always good to have a balance between some level of friendship/positive social interaction, whilst also respecting privacy, personal space and maintaining a healthy level of productivity with cleaning and household chores.
My main criteria is to have a somewhat peaceful space, where I can relax after being at work.
Other than that, my #1 criteria and reason for moving is my 10 year old British shorthair, Teddy. He has always lived in houses with me; but over the last year we have been in a third floor apartment. Teddy spends most of his time indoors anyway, but I’d like him to have some kind of ground floor area, where he can go outside to sit in the sun. He is super affectionate and a colourful character.
I’m up for a one bedroom place, share house; team ups or anything in between. Hoping to move out by the end of this month, so that I can settle in and refocus on work and other aspects of my life; rather than house hunting. I come with 2x couches, a TV, a fridge, a washing machine and enough funds to contribute for other necessities. Thanks for taking the time to read
