hi everyone! my name is Julian, I'm 26 with 7 years of share house experience and a permanent, well-paid full-time job (i.e. reliable income) and I'm looking for a place for me and my 2 pets (1 cat, 1 dog) to call home in melbourne moving in on 10 jan 2026 (though open to start paying rent earlier if that's what it takes to get a room in time)! that can look like either: a) you have a sharehouse looking for a housemate, or b) you are in melbourne currently, able to attend inspections & apply promptly, and want to apply with me

a bit about me: i work full-time at a university (typically 1-2 days p/w WFH) and study psychology part-time. i have 2 pets (pirate cat [3 legs] and butch dog [4 legs]) & am always teaching my dog new tricks. i am also a writer & artist, always trying something new, and i ❤!!! to talk lol. but i am also passionate about home being a peaceful and restorative space, the only noise you'll hear from me after 10pm is my 45 mins sleep timer healing bowls audio so that i can get the hell to sleep!!!

requirements:
* max $400pw (not incl utilities)
* somewhere to park my car
* long-term opportunity (1+ years)
* <= 1hr public transport commute from swinburne hawthorn (my new employer)
* pet friendly (i have 1 cat [George, 6], 1 medium size dog [Lulu, 1.5] - both affectionate yet independent souls who are very easy to live with)
* LGBT+ friendly
* Neurodiverse friendly (that being said I have worked rly hard to manage my disabilities well, I very much pull my weight and then some to keep the house clean & tidy and communicate well!)
* clean, tidy housemates

preferences:
* air conditioning / split system in bedroom
* inner north suburbs (brunswick & surrounds)
* at least 1 of my housemates genuinely likes animals (because i love my little guys)
* 2nd toilet or bathroom in the house
