Hey, I’m Josh, 32, and I’m moving back to Melbourne after spending a few years living in Wales.
I work full-time in residential youth work and I’m also studying psychology at RMIT, so during the week I’m usually pretty busy between work and uni. Outside of that, I’m into basketball, going to the gym, watching sport, gaming, hiking, getting out for a drink or a meal, and generally exploring Melbourne when I have some free time.
I’m looking for a house that feels social and comfortable rather than somewhere everyone disappears into their rooms. I’d like to live with people who are happy to have a chat, occasionally grab a drink or dinner, or hang out together, while still respecting that everyone has their own lives and needs their own space. I have out down 6 months but if the atmosphere and vibes are good happy to stay longer if available!
I’m clean and respectful of shared areas and looking for housemates who are similar. I’m pretty easygoing and like having a laugh, so ideally I’d love to find a place with a relaxed atmosphere where everyone gets along and it actually feels like a home rather than just somewhere we all happen to rent rooms.
