Hiya! I'm Charlotte 👋 An Aquarious (un-specified moon and rising) from the Sunshine State, in my early 30s. I’ve spent the last three years travelling and living abroad in the UK, now returning home, just long enough to realise an enormous part of my social circle has evolved into high-brow Melbourne Northsiders. To keep my friendships (and my dignity) intact, I’m doing the inevitable and migrating like a hungry seagull to catch more chippies in Melbourne/ Naarm around July 1st. 🍟🕊

About Meee:
By day, I shake my tail feathers as a freelancer in Marketing & Communications for the creative industries (everything from Global Theatre Touring to Music & Arts Festivals, Children’s TV, and Radio). My other outlet for expression is in Community Radio, previously spending my on-air time at 4ZZZ, LooseFM, and Soho Radio, I’m now itching to get involved with PBS and Triple R once I land. I'm big on building creative communities and networking with like-minded people.

I’m a "woman about town" with a schedule that looks like a high-stakes game of Tetris, but I treat home as my reset button and value a peaceful, curated home that feels worn in and loved. I’m an enthusiast of a daily ritual and romanticise the small things - morning journals, fresh flowers, home-made pickling jars. I’m a collector of curiosities, I gravitate toward playfulness, folk traditions, offbeat films, Queer-centred theatre and arts, and searching for the city’s most transcendent strawberry matcha or yuzu soda.

• My ideal housemate/s are not just polite ghosts who share a fridge. I’m talking occasional weekend cafe walks, hosting the odd dinner party, or cozy nights in with books, crafts, and films.
• I love a home that feels curated but lived-in. I’m into interior design, and the art of sourcing second-hand and upcycled curbside finds.
• I grew up in a suburban home that was essentially an unaccredited zoo. If you have pets, I will treat them like deities and happily step in as a surrogate parent when needed.
• LGBTQ+ friendly, clean, reliable, and respectful of downtime and unwind rituals.

The Grid: Ideally looking to join the Northside elite (Preston, Thornbury, Brunswick, Northcote, Carlton). However, I’m open to a brief flirtation with the West (Footscray/Yarraville) or the leafy South-East (Prahran/Windsor) if the house energy is right.
