Hi, I’m Jan, 27, originally from Luxembourg and currently living in Munich. I work as a research associate at the Technical University of Munich while completing a PhD in industrial engineering, focusing on renewable energy solutions for manufacturing.

I’ll be coming to Sydney as a guest researcher at UTS from November 6th until December 20th and am looking for a friendly place to stay during that time.

I’ve lived in shared apartments for several years and genuinely enjoy the balance of having a social, relaxed home while also respecting everyone’s space and privacy. I’m tidy, calm, and used to living with people from different backgrounds.

Outside of work, I enjoy sports, being outdoors, and exploring new places. I’ve been sailing most of my life (Laser, 420, windsurfing, etc.), so I’m hoping to spend some time on the water while I’m in Sydney as well. I also enjoy reading, good music, and a great movie night.

I’m looking forward to making the most of my time in Australia and would love to find a cosy home with friendly flatmates.
