Hi lovely people,
I’m looking for a new home!
🏠 I’d ideally love a decent-sized room to rent long-term (12 months or more), preferably in the inner suburbs, close to public transport (don’t own a car) and under an hour’s commute to Melbourne CBD. My budget is approximately $200-$300 per week, or a maximum of $1,300 per month. Private bathroom is a plus but not essential.
🛀 I enjoy clean spaces, particularly kitchens and bathrooms, and have extensive experience living with others so very familiar with a shared house. I adore dogs, but am unfortunately slightly allergic to cats. I come armed with a Dyson vacuum, my own queen-sized bed and mattress, and couple bits of bedroom furniture. I also have some kitchen items and a Sodastream.
💁🏻♀️ I’m in my mid-30s. I love watching great shows and movies, especially just hanging out on the couch or sharing a glass of wine with housemates. Admittedly enjoy a bit of trash TV, foreign dramas, and true crime shows. Am a bit of a casual gamer, own way too many books, enjoy cooking and feeding/watering others, and a spot of gardening. Whilst I’m pretty social, I do value private personal time to recharge so occasionally will hermit.
🏥 I potentially start at the Alfred Hospital on St Kilda Rd/Commercial Rd on the 20th of January in a Peer Support Trainee role so hoping to find more permanent housing by then.
👀 Looking mostly around:
North - Carlton, Brunswick, Northcote, Ivanhoe
West - Maribyrnong, Footscray, Sunshine
East - Hawthorn, Richmond, Camberwell
South/South East - St Kilda, Malvern, Caufield, Oakleigh
Please get back to me if you think I would make a good fit and if I could potentially inspect the place! Looking forward to hearing back from you.
