Hello, I’m Priya (they/them).

I’m 24 and I work full time as a data scientist. I work in the city half the time and the other half from home, so I want to live maximum 30 minutes from the city. I don’t have a car and want to live within 10 minutes of public transport. I’ve lived in a share house before, in Newtown.

I’m a fairly quiet person — I don’t drink or smoke. I love nature, playing badminton and crafting. I don’t want to live with people who smoke in the house or backyard.

I’m looking for a private room in a share house with people around the same age, and who are preferably also working full time. I’m looking to live with 1-3 others and either have a bathroom to myself or share a bathroom with one other person.

I want a place that doesn’t have carpet (preferably floorboards) and is cockroach free!

I want a laundry (inside or outside the place), but don’t want to a communal apartment laundry or have to use a laundromat.

I’m looking for a friendly vibe where I can bring my younger sister and a couple of friends around occasionally :)

I don’t have any pets, but am open to living with one or two pets. I really value a clean house and would want to follow a cleaning roster for the shared areas. I would really like to agree on a place where we don’t wear outside shoes inside the house, and definitely not on the couch!

I grew up in Sydney and have lived here for most of my life. I’m vegetarian (trying to be vegan).

I’m flexible with my move in date, after 27th January. I’m also flexible with the length of the lease, but definitely want at least 6 months.

I’m flexible with the budget, depending on the location and room.
